Violinist Luke Hsu talks about the unique adaptation of playing both for a live audience and an online audience. This is the first live concert Luke played since the pandemic; meanwhile, this concert was livestreamed as well. The program consisted of turn-of-the-century repertoire from Vienna for the violin and piano, including works by Zemlinsky, Korngold, and Brahms.

Violinist & composer Luke Hsu, cellist Simon Tetzlaff and pianist Andrei Gologan discuss adapting amidst the uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic and finding the opportunity to achieve joy in music-making without an audience. Furthermore, Luke was commissioned to write a new work for solo piano, dedicated to Andrei. In this video, Luke discusses the inspiration behind the commission and what he hopes to communicate to an online public.
